2010 Annual General Meeting

The meeting will be held at the new Northbridge Piazza Community Building (located above the CNR Cafe) – located at the corner of Lake and James Street, Northbridge – on Saturday 25 September 2010 at 2.00pm. If this meeting is inquorate, the meeting will be reconvened one week later at the same venue, on Saturday 2 October 2010 at 2.00pm.

We encourage as many people to attend on Saturday 25 September 2010 to ensure the meeting is quorate.

GALE Committee – Can you help?

Several of GALE(WA)'s committee members are moving on this year, some after almost a decade's service to the GLBTI community of WA. We are seeking new and passionate community members to take on a role with the GALE(WA) Committee.

A member may nominate for multiple positions on the committee and a nomination form is available by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . GALE's rules require nominations close 21 days prior to the AGM, so please ensure that your nomination is postmarked no later than Saturday 4 September 2010. The chairperson at the AGM has the option in some circumstances to open nominations from the floor of the AGM should insufficient nominations for any position be received prior to 4 September 2010.

Not all of the positions have received nominations, so if we don't get nominations for all positions by September 4th, we'll be opening nominations from the floor.
