Fair Go - Building networks of support & action
The Fair Go Campaign, launched at Fairday 2010, aims to build strong networks of support and action that work towards achieving the goal of a fair go for people of diverse sexuality and gender. GALE has 3 networks of people who are taking the pledge to take action on a regular basis in small, valuable ways.
- GALE Members Network: People of diverse sexuality who pledge to take action & raise awareness
- GALE Ally Network - Individuals: People who are not same-sex attracted or members of GALE, who pledge to take action & raise awareness
- GALE Ally Network - Organisations: Organisations who pledge to take action & raise awareness on a monthly basis
At the Crossroads: A roadmap to full equality
The At The Crossroads campaign was launched in June 2010, as an awareness raising and community engagement initiative. The campaign seeks to raise awareness of the past, present and future of the campaign for full equality.
In the lead up to the 2010 Federal Election, community members took part in weekly actions to get sexuality & gender onto the election agenda, with clear success.
