The Pink Dot campaign is an inspirational campaign, first launched in Singapore in 2009 to coincide with the International Day Against Homophobia. The campaign seeks to show support and love for same-sex attracted and gender diverse community members in Singapore, and embodies the belief that everyone should have the freedom to love, regardless of sexual orientation or gender. This campaign is particular significant, because it is the first mass showing of support for same-sex attracted and gender diverse Singaporeans of its kind, and for its positive and heartwarming approach to activism - which has succeeded in bring thousands of supportive Singaporeans together.
