Pride Ball & Glammy Awards
This is a formal ball which will be held at the Riverside Ballroom in the Novotel Langley Hotel on Saturday 28th August 2010 starting at 7pm and ending at midnight.
It will be a night of glitz
and glamour – something that has been missing from the Perth GLBTQI scene for a
long time now.
Our MC for the evening will be Narelda Jacobs – more usually seen reading the news on Channel 10. The night will include a champagne cocktail on arrival; a sumptuous three course dinner; beer, wine and soft drinks all night, with coffee and port thrown in for good measure”. Naturally there will also be fantastic entertainment including music by “Hit Factory”, as well as prizes for the best masks. Masks will be available for sale on the night at the door.
This year will also see the
return of “The Glammys”, Pride WA’s Community Awards.
These are awards made to local people, organisations and businesses that have made outstanding contributions to the GLBTQI community”. A presentation will be made to all winners on the night of the ball. We need your help and the community to identify who they are.
We urge everyone to complete a nomination form and return it to Pride by Wednesday 18 August 2010.
