New Liberal Leader urged to dump unpopular, failed 'Family First' policy

Western Australia's peak gay and lesbian equality group says new Opposition Leader Matt Birney now must make clear his plans to rollback the human rights of gays and lesbians under WA law.
Gay and Lesbian Equality (GALE) convenor Rod Swift said Western Australians had a right to know if the Liberal Party was still committed to its anti-gay 'Family First' position statement, or whether it would retain laws implemented by parliament in 2001-2002.
